Find Students

Staff can now access student loans, calendars, grades, due work, clipboard sessions, geosnapshot photos, learning moments, badges, work feedback, and more from the new ‘Find Student’ button on the app homepage:

Tapping this will launch a new student search experience powered by Schoolbox, reflecting the current users’ permissions. This experience integrates data from systems such as Schoolbox, Clipboard, Oliver, Concord Infiniti, and more. Tap a student to view their profile.

Student Banners

Student pages for staff/parents now include banners for medical conditions, overdue loans, and daily uniform.

Collapsed banners These banners are dynamically prioritised based on the user’s role, the context in which they are viewed (a parent viewing their child vs staff using the ‘find student’ feature), time of day, and so on. When a target user has multiple banners, only the top-priority one will be displayed in the preview. You can click the chevron to view all.

Expanded banners Some banners are sensitive, so they’ll automatically be redacted in public contexts like when broadcasting via AirPlay or looking at the app from the App Switcher.

Redacted banner (Apple platforms only) [Experimental] Uniform banners require an all-day event with the title formatted as “Sports Uniform (Drama)”, and will be presented as “Don’t forget your {uniform_type} for {reason} today!” We know some customers already follow this convention, making adopting this a breeze.

The uniform events can be created as recurring weekly events on Schoolbox class pages.

Integrations

We’ve added support for the Concord Infiniti cloud-native library management system, allowing parents and staff to easily track current, historical, and overdue loans. This will work akin to the already supported Oliver integration.

The TASS Parent Lounge integration now supports a seamless, native, parent-teacher interview booking experience.

The Clipboard integration now features better support for custom fields, session statuses, and controlling staff/student list visibility by user role.

Our Synergetic Cloud connector has been revamped to be more performant and support beta absentee forms, as well as other attendance functionality.

Schoolbox

This release added support for several Schoolbox v25 features, including rich work feedback. The parent feedback feed has also been redesigned to better accommodate this new rich feedback, alongside the existing support for Schoolbox badges, learning moments, awards, and more.

The calendar ‘Terms’ view was polished some more.

Other

Added SVG support for Schoolbox homepage tiles. Improved user portfolio handling when alerts are present. Fixed a rare bug causing inconsistent icon loading after migrating from on-premises Schoolbox to the cloud.

More

Additional features/enhancements are being rolled out gradually to specific apps, and haven’t made it here.
