September 2025 Release Notes
📱 About Inklass
Inklass builds custom branded school apps that integrate with multiple school systems, with Schoolbox as our primary LMS and community portal integration.
We’re excited to bring you our September release with powerful new features including Schoolbox 25.1 support , enhanced learning moments, improved home action cards, and streamlined integrations (as well as a few new integrations!). Here are the highlights:
🚀 Schoolbox 25.1 Learning Moments
Your app has supported learning moments natively for a while, but with Schoolbox 25.1 we’ve now expanded this to deliver a more powerful learning moments experience featuring multiple attachments per moment and image gallery support.
This builds on last month’s upgrades, including Schoolbox Discussions support enabling parents, students and staff to engage directly within the app.
We’ve also improved the learning moment post view to support posting multiple attachments per moment. This includes support for camera, document scan and more.
🏆 Refined Badges & Achievements
We’ve improved the badges and achievements system with an even more refined design, making it easier for parents and students to see their goals and accomplishments.
📋 Clipboard Activity Selections
Your app already features an incredibly comprehensive integration with Clipboard, and with this release we’ve expanded this to include support for activity selections!
Right on your app’s homepage, you’ll see prominently surfaced your open Clipboard activity selections, for both parents and students.

🏠 Slips & Consents
This section on your app’s homepage surfaces all sorts of items parents, staff and students need to action, depending on integrations configured. This includes support for five major selection and consent platforms you can read more about here.
📰 Naavi Integration
We know a lot of schools use Naavi for their newsletters , so we’ve worked with Naavi to enable automatic newsletter publishing directly into your app - without your marketting team needing to login to an app CRM and manaully copy over!
Newsletter posts from Naavi will appear directly in your app’s main feed alongside all your other content - including Schoolbox News, Goals, Badges, Learning Moments, Assessment feedback, and updates from other integrated platforms.

🎨 Admin Dashboard Improvements
What’s new:
- Branding configuration page — Streamlined interface for managing your school’s visual identity
- Debug push notifications — Send test notifications directly from device detail pages for troubleshooting
🤩 iOS 26 Improvements Incoming
We’ve already made sure the latest release is compatible with iOS 26, and we’re working to bring you a refined app update adoptiong more liquid glass soon. Stay tuned!
